On pouvait presque toucher au paradis! Installée sur le haut d’une grande vallée dans la Tavernelle Val Di Pesa en Toscane, cette maison nous offre une vue panoramique incroyable. Très bien située entre Florence, Sienne et San Gimignano. Nous nous organisions pour être revenus en fin de journée pour assister aux couchers de soleil tout simplement splendides. Maison impeccable, avec toutes les commodités nécessaires. Hôte très accueillant. Nous avons même eu droit à une envolée de montgolfières avant notre départ. Il est dur de quitter dans de telles circonstances!

Et soyez sans crainte quant aux frais d’électricité que vous aurez à défrayer; c’est selon votre utilisation durant la période où vous y séjournerez. Rien de majeur comparativement à cette belle opportunité de séjourner dans ce magnifique coin de pays!

We could almost touch the paradise! Installed in the upper of a majestic valley in Tavernelle Val Di Pesa in Toscana, this property offers an incredible panoramic view. Well situated between Firenze, Siena and San Gimignano. We planned to get back to the house by the end of the days to admire the gorgeous sunsets. Great house with all necessary amenities. Very welcoming host. The morning we were leaving, we had the chance to see just in front of us magnificent hot-air balloons! It has made it more difficult to leave this beautiful region!

And don’t be afraid of the electricity costs; it depends on your use during your stay. Nothing major compared to this opportunity to stay in this property!

The host and hostess made us felt welcomed and they tried very hard to enable us a worry free stay. That includes the host leading us through local roads to avoid traffic jam on the highway!

We had numerous problems during our stay. I would say that 33% was a language barrier, which in part is our responsibility as we are in a foreign country that we do not speak their language. The other 67% are areas that the owner could improve on.

Property should be noted as non-English speaking. Bad language issue for English guests.
You really should have an all-wheel drive vehicle, especially in rainy weather.
Driveway steep and rocky. We had a flat tire with a punctured sidewall from the rocks on the driveway to the property, ruining a day of our vacation. Could not get any vehicle service to our car because of the remote location. No usable address.
Toilet paper was promised. Had to buy our own.
No instructions for anything like wood heat, washer
Heat was a pain. Had to continually put wood on every 2-3 hours. Very hard to get a good night sleep. (obviously not a problem in the summer)
Bath and toilet locations not as advertised. Assumed the bathrooms adjoined bedrooms.
No garbage removal
First floor always cold even with fire
Spiders and flies
Villa name and advertised name not the same. (can supply a picture of the building villa name if you wish)
No Jacuzzi tub as advertised
Stairs were steep but sturdy
