New Review Submitted for Molino Della Frateria located in Sant'antimo, Tuscany, Italy.

Rental Date: Saturday 24th of June 2017.
Renter Rating: 4/5.
Review Details:
The villa is lovely and well equipped and we greatly enjoyed our time there. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed some very beautiful dining and wine experiences in Montalcino and surrounding towns. The Brunello's in particular are magnificent, and we did an Italian cooking course which was a lot of fun. Castelnuovo Dell' Abate is very quaint and the historic Abbey of Sant Antimo is very close. We enjoyed some good mtb riding on back roads enjoying some fabulous vistas. The owner's reps were pleasant and helpful.
On the negative side; (a) iit appears that one of the bedrooms (first floor with the door that opens to the driveway) has bedbugs which bit my wife a lot, and bit me (less so) later in the week; (b) the pool was heavily dosed up with chemicals (presumably shortly before our arrival) and it hurt our eyes when swimming. However, we still did so; (c) when we arrived at the property, within the appointed time slot, there was nobody there and nobody answere the several telephone numbers we had been supplied. Eventually we found someone through ringing Easy Reserve. We had to wait an hour and a half in the heat, after a six hour drive, for someone to arrive. That was not ideal.
Having said these things, our experience was positive and we intend to return to Tuscany and we would use Easy Reserve again. It was efficient and well organised in everything it did.

New Review Submitted for Vigna San Giuseppe located in Capolona, Tuscany, Italy.

Rental Date: Saturday 1st of July 2017.
Renter Rating: 5/5.
Review Details:
The Vigna San Giuseppe is not only gorgeous, high-quality and tastefully decorated, it is authentic! It was actually the working farm and vineyard of the hostess, Giuditta's grandparents. The bottom floor originally was a stable and the gorgeous guest house was an animal manger! Now it looks like a spa, but it's nice to know its roots are real.

The house has great views from every patio and the valley next to the house is full of bird noise and lovely farm noises. We even saw a family of wild boars every evening grazing in the field next to the house. There is a hiking trail that starts right at the house through forests and the little town at the top of the hill.

Giuditta, the hostess who spent her childhood there, is adorable and sincere and ready to come over at a moment's notice to help with anything. She knows all kinds of people in the area and one night she and two chefs created the most memorable multi-course meal with specialties from the region, including locally produced wine and wild boar hunted by someone she knows! It was delicious and so special, something we will all remember for a long time.

The house has about 8 bikes of all types and sizes and we loved biking down the dirt road into town and tooling around on the cobble stones in the ancient part of subbiano, picking up groceries etc. Walking it's only about 15-20 minutes into town and by the time you get back up to the villa, you'll be ready to jump into the clean and beautifully refreshing pool!

It's convenient to have a car, but we also got around just fine using buses and trains.

Lots to do in the area, great villages, castles and of course Sienna and Florence all within visiting distance.
You will love this place!
