This was a wonderful holiday, and it is hard to put into words how perfect this property is. We visited as a group of 3 families, 12 of us in total, and Vigna San Giuseppe could not have been better. The location is stunning, with fabulous views, far enough out of the town for perfect peace and quiet (our children aside!), yet an easy 20-ish minute stroll into Subbiano if we wanted to eat out locally in the evening. 20 minutes by train to Arezzo, and so many beautiful places to visit within easy driving distance - Cortona, Siena, Poppi, Lake Trasimeno and more - or the train to Florence.

The pool is wonderful, and the house has all the facilities you could need, plus mountain bikes, table tennis, table football, volleyball - and fresh eggs daily from the chickens!

A word also for our wonderful hosts - Giuditta and her sister Genevra were so welcoming and catered for our every need. They were completely committed to making sure we enjoyed our stay, and we could not have asked for more. If you do stay here, make sure you take up their offer of cooking you a traditional Tuscan meal - absolutely delicious VIP treatment!

We had a wonderful time at Villa Del Guisto. It is a beautiful property with fantastic gardens and swimming pool. The key manager, Francesca, is incredibly helpful and organised chefs, massages and even yoga for us - plus helped us with a wine tour, truffle hunting and local information.
The villa is spacious and comfortable - and is easily accessible from both Florence and Bologna airports and a very quick train ride or drive straight into Florence town centre. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the villa to anyone and would go back tomorrow if we could. We don't have any complaints at all although we would agree with a previous comment that a fridge in the pool house would be a brilliant addition. Plus, it is best to be warned, electricity and cleaning is charged in addition to the rent when you leave. For us, with a family between 5 and 9 people for various times during a two week period, and with the aircon on sparingly in only some of the bedrooms (we didn't use them all) and for only some of the evenings - was over £500. The check-out cleaning was another £250 (there is no cleaning included during the rental period).. plus, you'll need plenty of insect repellent - but that certainly didn't spoil our holiday!!

A 20 minutes de Lucca, magnifique propriété traditionnelle pleine de charme parfaitement équipée dans un cadre somptueux et à la vue non moins idyllique. C'est vraiment beau. Jardin arboré avec beaucoup de goût et très bien entretenu. Piscine très agréable d'1,50 m de profondeur sur toute la longueur. Si vous êtes plutôt amateur de contemporain.. passez votre chemin. Quoique vous passerez très certainement le plus clair de votre temps à l'extérieur pour les repas ou encore pour lire à l'ombre des oliviers ou sous la tonnelle au bout de la piscine. La déco devient alors tout à fait accessoire.
Attention toutefois aux moustiques qui sévissent dans la région. Les chambres sont toutes équipées de moustiquaires, mais prenez néanmoins des précautions supplémentaires.
Et vous pourrez vous approvisionner en huile d'olive et en vin de table à l'agriturismo qui se trouve à côté.
Quelques bémols (literie à revoir dans certaines chambres, une cabine de douche qui mériterait un petit rafraichissement et une route un peu passante tôt le matin) qui, selon nous, sont toutefois mineurs par rapport à la beauté du site.
