One of the most popular type of villas we rent in Tuscany are  luxury villas. Typically these vacation rentals are large restored farmhouses in Tuscany countryside although there are also luxury accommodations located in many of the popular city destinations like Siena, Florence, Lucca, San Gimignano and Cortona.

If you plan on staying in a large luxury villa with pool in Tuscany next season we recommend you book it as soon as possible.

The supply of these villas is limited and the demand is always high. October and November are the best time to reserve a luxurious villa because the availability for the next season is just coming online and your choices won't be limited. If you wait until next spring to book, your choice of villas will be much more limited.

We are often asked about the rating system we use to rank our villas and how we determine the star rating. Our ratings are from one star to five stars with five stars being the best. We take into account the quality of the villa and furnishings, the location and views, the amenities like private pool, en-suite bathrooms, maid service, etc. All these factors and many other criteria are evaluated before a villa specialist assigns a rating to the villa.  Only villas that are rated 5-stars are considered to be luxury vacation rentals.

Here we are with our fantastic Villa Spotlight from the glorious Tuscan Coast.

This property is called Villa Oliveta and it is situated on the rolling hills behind the Versilia coastline.

Surrounded by ancient olive groves this villa is in a peaceful, beautiful location and the views of the Versilia coastline are fantastic.

This property would probably be more suited to those who are looking for a quiet holiday away where they can relax by the pool and admire the landscape or take small trips down to nearby beaches, restaurants and enjoy the night life and shopping.

Here we are again with another Villa Spotlight where we dig through our archives to pull our a gem of a property just for you!

This week we're off to the Arezzo Countryside to a property called Villa Ulivi & La Casina. This Villa is very difficult to describe as words could not do justice to the fantastic architecture.

It is located just on top of a small hill in the Tuscan Countryside and is just 700mt from the medieval town of Lucignano. It has recently undergone renovation and it is furnished to the classic Tuscan taste while offering every modern comfort.

And we're back with yet another Villa Spotlight!

This week we're taking a trip to the area of Montecatini Alto where we are looking at a fabulous Villa called Villa Le Ferrette (No longer available).

This wonderful property is located on an estate of about 10 hectares with a garden, orchard and forest on the property.

The property sleeps up to 24 people in 12 bedrooms and if has a fantastic swimming pool, teble tennis, terrace and various other amenities.

The town of Montecatini is less the 2km distance away and it is known well for its thermal spas. There are also various shops, cinemas, restaurantes, horse riding, golf and more nearby this wonderful property.

This time we're taking a trip to Foiano Della Chiana in the Arezzo countryside to a spectacular Villa that sleeps up to 15 people in 8 bedrooms!

Villa Laura has beautiful panoramic views and very stylish architecture and spacious gardens with its own private pool for guest use.

The bedrooms are tastefully decorated and there is plenty of counter space in the kitchen for cooking.

We think that one of the best thing about this villa is the room with the snooker table. It is perfect for relaxing and having fun in with friends and family. There is even a chess set in the corner!
