Staying at Casa Mulinello was a dream come true for me. It is such a special place, so peaceful, relaxing and quiet, exactly what I was looking for!
The villa is a magnificent example of traditional Tuscan architecture, tastefully furnished and decorated with antique furniture. The bed was very comfortable, combined with the cool night's breeze from the rolling hills, I can't recall the last time I slept so soundly!
There is a large shaded terrace with breathtaking views over the Tuscan countryside and the nearby medieval city of Montepulciano, perfect to have your morning espresso or evening glass of wine, from one of the many vineyards around the area.
I made friends with the five cats that call this beautiful place home, they love to come say hello and rub against your leg, when they are not lounging around on the grass.
My host, Michele, and the villa's caretaker, Pamela, were very welcoming. Pamela was so sweet she offered me a ride to the train station on the day of my departure, a much appreciated gesture of kindness and generosity.
A truly unique and amazing experience, highly recommended. I already miss this magical place and want to come back!
