The area is very beautiful but very very hot in August we had temps over 36 Deg C every day even over 40 Deg C .Lovely swimming pool .
The apartment was situated well for visiting Siena ,San Gimigiano and Florence, nearby village of Radda has lovely restaurants and several others in easy reach.

We could not have wished for a better base to see Tuscany. The directions provided were great right up and to the last step which caused us some difficulties. A bit more detail here would be appreciated.
The villa itself was absolutely ideal and we could not have wished for more. The surroundings were picturesque and quiet despite several families also staying in the villa. The pool and grounds were extremely well kept and it was so relaxing just to spend time in the grounds.
Our villa was stunning and personally, I don't think the pictures on the website did it justice. It was more than we could have ever hoped for. The beds were big and comfortable, the kitchen was well appointed and the sitting room was incredibly comfortable. There was more room than we knew what to do with!
The owners were incredibly helpful and came out at odd hours several times to help us out. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble.
I'd book this villa again in a heartbeat. I can't say a bad word about it!

Casa Simona is a beautiful peacful and well equipped villa. The owners can't do enough for you and upon request of extra fans, they arrived on the same day with two new ones for us. The only problem was that it isnt toddler friendly so if you have a small child be aware its all stone steps and the high drops from surrounding (unfilled fences) Siobhan UK

We loved Villa San Filippo. It was even better than the pictures suggested...it's set well back from any main roads, so you feel like you are secluded in the country, yet it's only 10 min drive to Montalcino. Le Coste was fantastic....perfect for our needs. The wines of SF are excellent...we had a very good tour and ended up buying some bottles. We will definitely be going back there again.

This property was the ideal place to relax and get a nice taste of Italian life and culture. As long as you have a car, there is easy access to major sites and Florence. Thoroughly enjoyed the place, including the pool! Its a little hard to find But once you arrive, you can easily spend a week exploring the area and taking in the scenery.
