Review Details:

Very good! The house is really big, with spacious rooms, a great balcony, nice garden and all the appliances necessary: stove, dishwasher, washing machine, etc. The owner is really, really nice, but the communication might be a little difficult for those who don't speak Italian at all. The owner was very helpful and our stay was really pleasant. In the summer, although the third floor got hot during the day, it was cool during the night, so it is possible to have a good night's sleep in this part of the house. The ping pong and barbecue grill were a good addition to enjoy the house. When taking shower at the same time in the three bathrooms, the water was not so warm, but since it was summer, we didn't have a problem. But it is something to consider in the winter. In general, it is a great place to rent, really close to Arezzo and other great cities to visit.

Onze ervaringen zijn goed. We zijn zeer tevreden van de goede ontvangst van Silvia en Luigi. Dit zijn warme mensen die heel vlot met hun gasten kunnen omgaan.
De rust, de ligging, de verre zichten zijn ongelooflijk !
We hebben genoten van het grote zwembad. De ligstoelen zijn van iets minder kwaliteit zodat ze dan sneller stuk gaan. Ook de parasols rond het zwembad zijn regelmatig stuk door de regelmatige snel opkomende wind. Misschien is een kleine patio (schaduwterras) hier een oplossing zodat parasols niet meer nodig zouden zijn. De houten planken rond het zwembad zouden dringend een onderhoudsbeurt nodig hebben. Dit zijn maar kleine minpuntjes waar snel aan gewerkt kan worden. Voor de rest was de vakantie op Podere Marronaia SUPER alsook hun heerlijke wijnen !

The rest, the location, the distant views are incredible!
We enjoyed the large pool. The chairs at the pool are of less quality so they quickly brake. The parasols around the pool are regularly broken by the regular burgeoning wind. Perhaps a small patio (shaded terrace) would be a solution so umbrellas would no longer be required. The wooden planks around the pool would urgently require servicing. These are but minor hiccups that can be fixed easily. For the rest, the holiday at Podere Marronaia was SUPER as well as their delicious wines!

Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad in een prachtige omgeving in een superfijn huis.
Het huis ligt vrij afgelegen, boven op een heuvel. Daardoor heb je een geweldig uitzicht. Een grote tuin met veel mogelijkheden tot bedminton en andere spelletjes. Het huis is heel erg groot en ruim. De kamers stralen luxe uit. Mooie parketvloeren, ruime bedden, hele hoge plafonds. De waterdruk in de badkamers is overal wat minimaal. Douchecabines niet heel 'stabiel' en ook kapot. Keuken is heel ruim en compleet; veel inventaris. Groot fornuis; grote koelkast. Geen magnetron. Heerlijk ruim zwembad dat afloopt. Kleine kinderen kunnen niet staan. Mét veel gebruikte duikplank. Veel schaduw bij het zwembad en voldoende stoelen/ligbedden. Helaas waren de douche en de WC bij het zwembad niet schoongemaakt, dus deze zijn door ons niet gebruikt. Bij het zwembad staat ook een grote koelkast. De tuinman houdt de tuin en het zwembad keurig bij. Op fietsafstand van een 'bakkertje'. Met de auto (5 km.) naar een grote zeer complete supermarkt (Coop).

The house is quite remote, on top of a hill. This gives you a great view. A large garden with many opportunities to play badminton and other games. The house is very large and spacious. The rooms are luxury. Beautiful parquet floors, large beds, high ceilings throughout. The water pressure in the bathroom is somewhat at the minimum. Showerboxes not very 'stable' and also broken. Kitchen is very spacious and complete; a lot of inventory. Large cooker, large fridge. No microwave. Lovely spacious pool with sloped surface. Small children can not stand. With popular diving board. Lots of shade by the pool and plenty of chairs / loungers. Unfortunately, the shower and WC in the pool were not cleaned, so we did not use those. There is also a large fridge at the pool. The gardener maintains the garden and pool very neatly. Within cycling distance of a bakery. By car (5 km) you get to a very large complete supermarket (Coop).

Review Details:

Borgo di Vinci is a nice place to stay with a relaxed athmosphere. This is especially important when you come with children. It has a nice winebar and an excellent restaurant. On top of this the staff is nice and very helpful. We enjoyed staying here and felt we got good value for money.
