my family and friends had an amazing week is this beautiful, comfortable house that has everything you need. The layout is perfect with bathrooms for each room and lots of space to find for quiet reading! The pool is divine and Cortona just perfect. I would like to return to Gigliola every year and visit meet the lovely hosts again. Anne

Location was perfect. Just outside of Castellina, Chianti. We visited at the end of May and it was cooler than we anticipated but there was a 3 day wine festival in Castellina which was a terrific surprise. The villa was very nice but damn and cold during the evenings. The grounds and pool were lovely but we only sat beside the pool one day as the weather was too cold. The only thing we didn't like was the cat roaming around the outside of the villa. I don't like cats at all so I didn't feel comfortable sitting on the terrace as the cat would just show up. Sounds silly but when you really don't like cats it was very unnerving. The directions were great but you need to follow them literally. I would recommend staying here to my friends.

zeer mooi gelegen villa op berg met olijfboomgaard en fantastisch uitzicht. Heerlijk zwembad en prachtige tuin.

We had a wonderful Tuscan family holiday at villa elisa. we felt like we were really immeted in tuscan life with 3 generations of our family dining on long tables in the beautiful gardens each evening. The view from the pool of historic Cortona is magnificent. The local food and wine is delicious and the Italians warm and welcoming.
