The recently listed Villa Vico is a remarkable property that boasts a bright and cheerful exterior, a wonderfully equipped garden with a private pool, five bedrooms and five bathrooms (allowing for up to 13 guests), incredibly stylish interiors featuring all of the bells and whistles that you could ask for, and astounding views over the gorgeous surrounding landscape of the Tuscan countryside. For those looking to enjoy luxurious getaways in Tuscany Villas with their family and/or friends, it is an ideal choice!
Located in a private and peaceful spot on a hillside overlooking the lush green valley and towns below, Villa Vico is just 5km (3 miles) from the famous thermal spring town of Montecatini Terme and 38km (24 miles) from the gorgeous medieval town of Lucca. An idyllic escape, this charming stone villa combines wonderful Tuscan traditional details with all sorts of incredible amenities and surprises. Upon arrival, you’ll find a pretty rust-coloured villa with stone accents and a terracotta roof surrounded by a lush garden full of plants and colourful flowers, with lots of terraces and balconies from which to enjoy the views, and a neat garden.

On one of the terraces, there is the pool, which is surrounded by sun loungers and covered sun-bathing areas and leafy potted plants. On others, you will find little areas with outdoor furniture for dining al fresco or simply sitting out with a glass of wine or coffee. Another area features a ping-pong table for games with an unbelievable view. The very top terrace, onto which bedrooms and the living room open, has a small lawn and some more outdoor furnishings. This is also where you will find a covered table for eight positioned next to a grill on a counter with space for preparing food and a sink so you can do all of your cooking outdoors, without having to run in and out of the house. Finally, behind the villa, there is also a small play area with a swing set and a little playhouse for any younger kids that might be in your party.

Inside, the house is just as lovely, with bright, spacious, stylish rooms, many of which make the most of those tremendous panoramic views over Tuscany. As noted, there are traditional features like lovely exposed-beam ceilings and stone walls but most of the property is more modern in aesthetic, with lots of cool extras.
Take, for example, the large living room, which opens onto the lawn and a balcony directly overlooking the valley below and features a cosy seating area around a fireplace as well as a foosball table and a connecting space with a pool table, pinball machine, and a vintage-style Coca-Cola machine. These funky details afford lots of opportunities for fun and games for those staying in the property but also coordinate with the cool and colourful style that runs throughout the whole house.

The kitchen is spacious, sleek, and modern and a dream for cooks as it boasts plenty of counter space for food prep, a big industrial-style steel stove and oven area, a double-sink, and a massive fridge-freezer. It also has a little dining area and bar seats at one of the counter areas, as well as a window into the dining room, allowing busy chefs to chat and interact with others as wonderful meals are prepared in the home and everyone dines together.

Speaking of the dining room, this is another large and well-equipped space with a table that seats ten, a flat screen television, a sofa, and two sets of double-doors out onto the terrace.

The bedrooms are all extremely cosy spaces with either wonderful views of their own or access out to the garden or both. Furnished to be stylish and welcoming with lots of soft furnishings, natural wood, plenty of light, and occasional pops of colour, they are ideal places in which to unwind after excitement in the house and adventures in Tuscany. All of the bedrooms are en suite and feature air-conditioning, satellite televisions, and WIFI.

With basically everything you could ask for in order to have a fun, comfortable, and relaxing holiday in Tuscany, Villa Vico is available from €531 - €862 per night.
