It’s about that time of year where the need to go on holiday starts to press in around many of us and with summer quickly approaching, it’s about time to get serious about booking your vacation as many of our biggest, best, and most conveniently located villas have already been snapped up for the peak tourism months of 2022. However, never fear, there are still plenty of great Tuscany villas to browse across our website. One example that we thought worthy of highlighting today, in particular, is the pretty, spacious, and ideally-located Villa Barbiera in Forte dei Marmi.
Located in this gorgeous and vibrant seaside city, Villa Barbiera is perfect for those who want to combine more cosmopolitan delights with the relaxation of a coastal getaway. Just 1km (620ft) from the sea and walking distance to various shops, restaurants, and more, the villa allows for convenient access to everything you might want during your stay but is also private and peaceful with secure fencing, hedges, and trees all around the property. The villa itself sleeps up to eight people in four bedrooms with four bathrooms and has been decorated charmingly and finished to a very high standard. Outside, there is a pleasant garden with lush planting, relaxing shaded spots, and a terrace with garden furniture so that one can readily enjoy meals al fresco or lounge about with a coffee or a good book and simply unwind throughout their vacation.
As noted, the property has been decorated beautifully, with lots of cosy and welcoming touches. It is bright and airy throughout, with cream walls, high ceilings, and lots of natural light; a perfect space to return to after busy days of fun at the beach and exploring all that the region of Tuscany has to offer. Of the four lovely bedrooms, three are doubles and one is a twin and two of the double rooms also open out onto balconies. All four of the bedrooms are bright, have plenty of space, and boast air-conditioning for those balmy summer nights. In addition to the sleeping spaces there are three bathrooms on the second floor and another bathroom downstairs along with an efficient kitchen and an impressive and very inviting open-plan living and dining room.
This living room area is already charming – with a big bookshelf stuffed with books against one whole wall, a plush sofa and armchairs piled with cushions, a marble fireplace, and lots of works of art and elegant little decorations – but it is made even more appealing by the fact that this room opens directly out onto the equally delightful terrace and the lush enclosed garden beyond. On this elegant terrace, you will find a rattan sofa and chairs around a little coffee table (ideal for sitting around and chatting late into the night or casually lounging on days where you don’t have many plans and just want to relax at the house) and a dining table that seats four people. This whole terrace area is also enhanced by the fact that it is sheltered by the house itself as well as high hedges and boasts an awning that can be pulled out over the whole area, offering you protection from the sun and/or wind and allowing you to make the most of this brilliant outdoor space no matter the weather conditions. Around the corner, right outside a door into the garden from the kitchen, there is another dining area on the terraced area around the house that can seat up to eight people so you can all sit down together and enjoy leisurely meals of delicious local Tuscan produce with your fellow travel companions.
