The exhibition immerses viewers into the works of that legendary 19th century artist, taking his works beyond the canvas into a 360° environment, projected across huge screens, the architectural elements of the Church of Santo Stefano al Ponte and VR headsets and accompanies them with a combination of narration and music.

Opened on November 18th 2017, this multimedia exhibition utilises tablets, monitors, video-projections, reproductions and prints and the Oculus virtual reality headset to present a truly interactive experience that makes the most of current technologies. It is a fun way to learn and takes visitors on a journey through a succession of paintings, seamlessly tied to Monet's life and context. Additionally, you will be also introduced to the works of his peers, such as Cezanne, Renoir and Degas, among others.
The soundtrack, meanwhile includes beautiful pieces by Debussy, Saint-Saëns, Gounod, Faurè, Offenbach and Bizet, and your sense of smell will also be engaged by the natural aromas especially created and provided by Aromatique. At set times, the exhibition will be further enhanced by performances from the dancers of the Lyric Dance Company. Truly unique and engaging all of the senses, it is one of the must-see attractions currently taking place in Florence!
