This cosy but skillfully decorated six bedroom and five bath property is a perfect home away from home – i.e. comfortable but a lot more elegant than my home, at least! Located 1km from the charming town of Camporempoli, it is in a lovely secluded position and boasts views over the surrounding vineyards, olive groves, rolling hills and villages that are absolutely stunning. All of the windows perfectly frame a picture of the lovely Chianti countryside at its best and the beautiful infinity swimming pool is a particularly panoramic position. There are lots of extra little services available, which can be paid for, to make your stay more idyllic including hiring professional chef but a cleaning service is included 3 hours a day, 5 days a week for free. There is also WIFI, a dishwasher, a jacuzzi bath and more throughout the house. A truly incredibly decorated and situated gem, it is a wonderful place to spend a vacation in Chianti.

8. Wonderful Sun (Available from €427 per night)
If you're talking scenic locations, however, Wonderful Sun cannot be left out. This nine bedroom, ten bath historic villa is a typical country house located in the countryside around Florence that once belonged to the Pucci family. It is located atop a hill and is not overly surrounded by trees, offering an utterly unobscured view over the landscape of Chianti.

However, the view isn't all that the villa has going for it. Built across three floors, the house was completely renovated in 2000 and has bright, modern interiors that feature vintage pieces of furniture here and there, as a nod to the past. There is also a pool to be enjoyed on the grounds and all the mod-cons.
