Made in rosso or rosato styles from Sangiovese grapes and non-aromatic red grapes, it is largely a light wine, although there are reserva wines that receive extended maturation.

Characterised by limited production and long production periods, it is a premium wine producing area and premium wine. If you have found a luxury villa in Florence, make some time to track some down!
