9. Sovana

Sovana is a DOC red or rosé wine that is produced in the south of Tuscany. Named after the ancient Etruscan settlement of Sovana, it received its DOC status in 1999.
Made in rosso or rosato styles from Sangiovese grapes and non-aromatic red grapes, it is largely a light wine, although there are reserva wines that receive extended maturation.

8. Pomino

Pomino is a village in the province of Florence that is most famous for its red and white wines, which were created in the early 1970s. Characterised by limited production and long production periods, it is a premium wine producing area and premium wine. If you have found a luxury villa in Florence, make some time to track some down!
