The Lucca Summer Festival is one of Italy's most famous music festivals and, this year, celebrates twenty years since its inception. As a result, the line-up is rather extraordinary. With events taking place from June to September, there are plenty of chances to experience this Tuscan music institution once you have found a luxury villa in Lucca.
Continuing with the line-up, on the 9th of July, Ennio Morricone will play his third and last concert in his "The 60 Years of Music World Tour" following gigs in Rome in Verona. Having received awards throughout his career and created over 500 compositions for movies such as ‘Once upon a time In America', ‘Mission’, 'The Untouchables' and 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly’, he is a musical legend and a must-see.
On the 11th of July, newcomer Rag'n Bone Man and LP, née Laura Pergolizzi, will both play Lucca. LP boasts millions of views on Youtube and has worked with the likes of Rihanna and Christina Aguilera, while Rag'n Bone Man is a British songwriter that quickly scaled international charts with his single Brit award winning “Human”.
July 13th welcomes J-ax and Fedez to the stage, while July 15th sees Robbie Williams play Lucca just before beginning his highly anticipated European Tour, supported by Erasure who are in the 30th year of their career. Then, on July 16th, RnB legends Erykah Badu and Mary J. Blige, will perform in an unmissable night. On July 21st, the three young tenors, Il Volo will take the stage, then Hip Hop duo Macklemore and Ryan Lewis will play the festival on July 22nd, followed by Kasabian on July 23rd and the Pet Shop Boys on July 31st.
