Any trip to Florence inevitably means a touch of insanity as you try to see everything the city has to offer and considering its status as one of the most historically, culturally and artistically rich places in the world – that's a lot to see. All of that walking from museum to museum, lining up for said museums, craning your neck to see the architectural gems all around and influx of new knowledge is bound to work up quite the appetite! Luckily, Florence is also a fantastic place to eat with more restaurants to choose from than any one article could mention. Here are just a few highlights so why not find a luxury villa in Florence, see those sights and get eating?

Enoteca Pinchiorri is considered one of the absolute best places to eat in the city. A Michelin star restaurant, it's not for the casual diner or somewhere to grab a slice of pizza in the afternoon. However, it offers an utterly unforgettable dining experience.
A fusion of French and Italian cuisine, it is headed by Annie Féold and Sommelier Giorgio Pinchiorri who began working together way back in 1972.
They opened the Enoteca Pinchiorri in 1993 and continue to wow with their innovations in food, extensive wine cellar with over 120,000 bottles of wine and charming interiors.

Caffè Cibrèo is located in Santa Croce and is the younger, and cheaper, sibling of Cibrèo, a highly regarded restaurant in the city. Perfect for foodies on a budget but who still want to experience the best of what Florence has to offer, it has a more relaxed and casual atmosphere.
Some of the dishes can be challenging and not what you might expect of Tuscan cuisine but they are ambitious and interesting. Paired with the relaxed dining experience, you'll want to stay for hours on end.
If you're looking for something a little sweeter, Grom is an artisanal gelato shop that will knock your socks right off.
With the best of ingredients sourced from all over the world and a ridiculous level of attention to detail, it's a little different to the ice-creams you will buy in stores. The perfect thing for tucking into while sitting in a piazza and enjoying the city, it is a must for any ice-cream lovers visiting Florence.
Next time you find yourself in Florence, make sure you make the time to find somewhere special to eat, rather than just hitting any random pit-stop between sights – it will very much be worth it!
