6) Terre di Siena Festival – This marvellous events runs from June to September, most of which takes place in Siena city with some others hosted in surrounding towns and villages. 9) Puccini Festival – This is hosted in the pretty town of Torre del Lago beside Massaciuccoli Lake. It began to honour the renowned Italian composer Giacomo Puccini who lived here. It began in 1930 and is a lovely celebration of this man’s great work. It’s a magical event not to be missed!
10) Bolgheri Melody Festival – This fantastic Tuscan event takes place between July and August and is a symphony of entertainment for all ages. Most events take place in the Mario Incisa della Rochetta Arena, also known as the ‘Summer Temple of Melody’. Poetry, wine, theatre…this is such an elegant event that would truly enrich your tourist experience of Tuscany!
