Less than half an hour away by car is the stunning town of Pergine Valdarno. It’s located in the middle of a powerful triangle between the provinces of Arezzo, Florence and Siena, which, after many years of passing under the ownership of these three, it finally came to rest in the province of Arezzo.
This town will be of particular interest to visitors with a love for history as there is a massive selection of Roman and Etruscan ruins in the area to explore. There are also many vineyards in the area, some of which are more than happy to give a tour of their wine making process. This is an excellent opportunity to experience an authentic wine tasting course where you can learn more about wine and their distinctive flavours.
