Nestled in the beautiful Tuscan hills of Lucca, La Palma is an oasis of calm and relax. The region, known as "La Maolina" is renowned for its wine and is characterized by the typical landscape of vineyards and olive groves slopes. From the house, and especially from the veranda, which stretches the whole length of one side of the home and is furnished for eating "al fresco", there are marvelous views of the plains of Lucca and the hills beyond. The position of La Palma can also take advantage of its proximity to Lucca, combining a lovely rural setting with the convenience of being only a 10-minute drive from the center of the town. The property was recently bought by new American owners, who have refurbished it completely during year 2014, adding all main modern comforts, including new marble bathrooms, a beautiful new kitchen and air-conditioning in the bedrooms. The garden surrounds the house with very well-kept lawns and flowering shrubs and beyond these are vineyards and olive groves. The renovation work has also been extended to the swimming pool area, which has been transformed in a lovely zone where to relax enjoying the beautiful panoramic views of Lucca. A traditional Bocce court is also at the client's disposal.

Both houses date from the 16th century, retaining all their historic features as a true Tuscan idyll. Nonetheless, sufficient cosiness and comfort, combined with modern technology has been introduced to satisfy almost every 21st century requirement, including a very well equipped kitchen and wi-fi internet connection. Also a computer is at clients disposal in the guest house. Villa Igea is ideal for discerning groups, who appreciate high quality comfort in a secluded environment. The property is set in a quiet location, high in the hills northwest of Lucca, with spectacular views over the surrounding scenery. A very well maintained garden encircles the house and a big centuriesold oak tree provides a shady area, perfect for “al fresco” meals. The owners have kept two farmhouses on the same estate for their own use and for the use of the multilingual house manager, about 80 meters from the villa but in no way do they encroach on their client’s privacy. The property has its own olive grove, producing fine organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil under its own label. During low season the house is available also for 8 people at a lower price.

Villa Pedone is situated on a quiet and secluded hillside, surrounded by breathtaking views of olive groves and vineyards. Although you will feel far away from the city, Lucca is only 10 minutes away by car. It is an ideal location, as you will see on the map, the city of Lucca is positioned centrally in the Tuscan region. It is aprox. only 15 km from the sea side and 10km from the mountains. It is surrounded by all the main cities of Tuscany, which are easily reachable also by train or bus.
The property is in San Concordio di Moriano, a small village in the countryside, 7km from Lucca city center.
The villa is surrounded by ancient olive groves and vineyards. It is also an historic area where once all the noble families built their summer estates to escape the heat and show off their wealth. Although it might seem like an isolated area, the village center is only 2km away, where it is possible to find a minimarket and a supermarket at 3km.

The garden surrounding the property is delimited by a 2m high wall, which surrounds three sides of the villa. The fourth side is delimited by a low fence to enable the view of the lower hills, of vineyards and olive groves, the swimming pool, with deck chairs, and the outdoor dining area are on this side, therefore you are able to have a beautiful view of the countryside while dining and swimming.
The Italian style garden is partly in grass and partly in pebble stones. The villa's façade is dominated by a palm tree.

This charming stone-built farmhouse dates back to the 17th century. Located in the Lucca hills, it boasts a peaceful position and fine, broad views. The functional interiors are provided with modern facilities, such as Sat-TV, DSL connection, safe, mosquito nets and stereo; air conditioning is available in the bedrooms (at extra cost). The farmhouse looks onto a lovely garden, with a well kept lawned area in front, hosting a wide range of plants and flowers: geraniums in Tuscan pots, bougainvillea, roses, hydrangeas, lemon trees, a vegetable garden, a 135 year old, shade providing holm-oak and beyond, olive trees and vineyards. In a pleasant setting amongst the olive groves, there is a lovely swimming pool. There is a sunny exposed pavement in the front of the house and a shaded veranda around the side where it is possible to enjoy outdoor meals. It is possible to book organized excursions to major sites of interest and wine tours upon request. Casa Tonio is part of a large farmhouse and is particularly suitable for one family. The helpful owners live in the adjacent house with independent entrance. They are a multilingual young couple and will be happy to assist clients for any need.

Description
Al Mennucci was originally an old hayloft which has recently been converted into a delightful cottage. It is located in a superb position, high in the hills, 15 kms to the south-east of Lucca, and surrounded by olive groves and pine trees. There are fantastic views over the countryside and the plain of Montecatini in the distance. Both the house and the pretty garden are exceptionally well-maintained by the owners, and the interiors are equipped with all modern facilities. The swimming pool, situated to one side of the house, is in a perfect position to enjoy the beautiful views. Close to the pool area, there is a stone-built barbecue and pizza oven, an outdoor shower and an outdoor dining area. Near the driveway, about 20 metres from the house, there is small guesthouse with a double bedroom and bathroom. The secluded position and the fact that it is accessible by its private road ensure peace and tranquillity for the guests of Al Mennucci. This road lasts for 1 km and it is unsealed, therefore not suitable for low sport cars.

Description
Casa Luciana is one of our most advisable properties for families with children who want to enjoy a relaxing stay in the Tuscan countryside. In the large, well groomed garden there is a conveniently furnished pergola with a wood oven and barbeque which make it the perfect setting for nice al fresco dinners. At the back of the house there is a large patio overlooking the property’s swimming pool area, which is completely fenced and therefore is also ideal for children’s safety. The pool is surrounded by trees and lawns and, in a shady position, there is a table tennis. The interior of the house has been furnished in a very comfortable way and all bedrooms are air-conditioned. In the basement a sauna and steam bath have been installed for the guests to relax (included in the price for two hours a day). The helpful owners are available for any assistance and suggestions. During low season it is also possible to rent only a part of the house, accommodating up to 6 guests.
