The house is set in a wide, private park (25 hectares) crossed by grassed paths which go through the woods, ideal for gentle walks or running. The very well maintained garden is over 3 terraces.
In the first level of the garden, just below the house, there is a swimming pool (12 x 6 mt; depth: 1,5 mt) equipped with sun-beds and chairs. A stone barn has been renovated into a large, quality shower/changing room complete with WC serving the pool.
The owner can put next to the pool a heated Jacuzzi (on request at time of booking): the cost is € 250 per week.
From the paved poolside area guests may take full advantage of the magnificent view looking over small hilltop towns and villages with the Apennine mountain range forming the backdrop in the far distance. The owners also offer 2 mountain bikes, a barbecue area, table tennis, satellite TV, 2 baby cots, 2 high chairs, and a hairdryer in each bathroom. Free WI-FI internet available both in the villa and in the outside areas.

Torre del Cielo - 'Tower of the Sky' - takes its name from its outstanding position over the valley from which you can enjoy superb panoramic views.
The tower was built in middle of 1600 when it was used as a lookout for approaching enemies. In 1894 the building was expanded to include a stone farmhouse. This work was done by the great-grandfather of the current owner.
Traditional Tuscan style was maintained in the recent restoration of this property. The ceiling and floors are beautifully finished with terracotta tiles, and the ceilings have exposed wooden beams. The original wooden doors have all been refinished with antique hardware.
There is a new pool (12 x 6 m depth 1.5 mt; open from 1st May to1st October) in a beautiful garden with roses , lavender, jasmine, with cypresses and olive trees, offering stunning views over the valley towards the lush green tuscan hills.
A heated Jacuzzi is available on request (at booking confirmation) at € 250 per week / to be paid on site.
The pool area has a big gazebo, table, chairs and barbeques, from which to enjoy your al-fresco meal, the mediaeval town of Monterchi and the lush green Tuscan Hills are a backdrop.

Vacation rental Treppie is a lovely property (300 sq m) that includes private pool and WiFi internet. The property can sleep up to 18 guests comfortably in nine bedrooms with six bathrooms. Treppie is located 16 km (10 mi) from San Gimignano, Italy and only 39 km (25 mi) from Greve In Chianti in the tourist area "San Gimignano And Surroundings". In nearby towns there are local shops where you can find fresh produce and other items, but if you need a larger shopping center there is one located only 4 km (3 mi) from the property where you can purchase food and essentials.

This beautiful farmhouse is located in a very quiet and secluded position on the Castello di Volpaia estate, where we have successfully been renting two other properties, La Pozza and Il Casetto for many years. The owners of the estate, with long experience in providing guest accommodations, completed restoration of this stone-built farmhouse in 2005. Their aim was to make it the ideal residence for those seeking a totally relaxing holiday in Chianti, so they have provided full-time staff to take care of the house and to prepare meals for guests. The interior of Casavecchia Volpaia has been restored with full respect for the typical Tuscan traditions, and each bedroom has been equipped with an en-suite bathroom Guests can enjoy incredible views from the covered terrace, which is furnished for outdoor eating and is also very practical for families as it overlooks the pool, allowing parents to relax while keeping an eye on the pool area. The fortified hamlet of Volpaia offers two nice restaurants, one of which owned by the estate. The English speaking estate staff can organize cooking lessons, visits to the wine cellars and will be glad to assist guests during their stay.

Palazzolo, between the provinces of Arezzo and Siena. Palazzolo Alto is a beautiful villa with annex situated on the edge of the tiny hamlet of Palazzuolo. Old pine trees shade the beautiful garden which has lovely views all around. Palazzuolo as it stands today was built in the Middle Ages on Etruscan and Roman ruins, set on the wooded slopes above Monte San Savino it has always been a border post where Arezzo and Siena Provinces meet. Both these famous cities with their historic centers, art treasures, shops and services are a half-hour drive away.
The view: from the 'Crete Senesi' to the gates of Siena. The fenced garden that surrounds three sides of the house dominates the valley below and has beautiful views of this lovely countryside. On clear summer days one can, by looking over wooded hills and the strange shapes of the Crete Senesi, see as far away as the gates of Siena.
Comfort and the beautiful swimming pool. On a natural terrace just below the garden there is a 6x12 m swimming pool (depth 1,00-1,40 m) completely fenced. Furnishing of the villa is of a good standard and comfort.
